Fly Fishing

Tempt a Trout to Play

Welcome to your own personal fly-fishing mecca. The Middle Fork has been a catch and release fishery since the 1970’s and the river maintains a robust and healthy population of native fish. West slope cutthroat trout (Salmo clarki) and rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri) are in abundance and grow up to 16 inches. Fishing is done with barbless hooks.

Whether you are a novice or a veteran fly-fisherman, you will find great fishing here and knowledgeable guides to put you in the best spots on the river.

Idaho fishing licenses are required and we are here to help, if needed. LINK HERE

Horseback Riding

Head Out on Horses

Horseback riding is one of the best ways to experience the beauty of the River of No Return Wilderness. These trips are guided and open to all experience levels. Ride to a higher elevation view to see miles of the river corridor. Investigate the remnants of settlements set up by 19th century explorers. Explore Native American pictographs, shelter pits, and hunting blinds. These excursions also offer the possibility of spotting local wildlife in their natural habitat.
